Caring For Your Wooden Bow:
What Every Bow Owner Should Know

Caring for your wooden bow is important!
Although they are crafted to last a lifetime under proper conditions, a bow can break if mishandled. Clark recommends that you consider carefully whether the person who is asking can be trusted to draw and shoot your bow just like you would.
Store your bow away from heat sources and unstrung. Leaving a wooden bow strung adds unnecessary stress on your bow; never store your bow strung.
Wax your bow regularly to seal the wood from the elements. Wipe it off with a cotton cloth if you're shooting in the rain or snow before you let it relax for the night.

Treat your bow well and it will bring you pleasure for a lifetime.

Step by step guide to stringing your bow:

Place bow stringer on the tips of your bow.

Step on stringer and draw the bow up towards your chest. Keep drawing the bow until you can slide the string loop on to the nock.

Continue sliding the string up to the nock.

Make sure the bow string loop is securely in place on the nock.
